This presentation gives an overview of aquaculture by touching on global trends, the geographic distribution of aquaculture production, and the interaction between fisheries and aquaculture.
Dr. Halley Froehlich is a post doctorate fellow at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis. In 2015, she received her Ph.D. from the School of Aquatic and Fishery Sciences at the University of Washington. Her past work focused on offshore aquaculture, the interaction between fisheries and aquaculture, perceptions of aquaculture, as well as tracking and identifying global trends in aquaculture.
